It amazes me that many people think I am living a deprived life because I live on a remote, tropical island. I'm not sure, but I think they believe that a mall or a cinema is necessary to survive. Then it shocks me when they ask me what could I possibly find to entertain myself. Pulling out my cell phone, I begin to tell them a story about how we spend an typical afternoon. By the way, here are a few pictures of how us unfortunate people survive without a mall...
Yes, we could have gone to the mall too, but an experience with family & close friends is far more entertaining and valuable. Come to think of it, I think our entire day was cheaper than a date in the city. C'est la vie!... I mean, 'Tulad ay buhay!'
