Do I Regret Becoming an Expat? & What is an Expat?

Hi, I want to answer another question today.

Thanks for asking this question, “Do I regret becoming an Expat?” I am not sure if people really know,“What is an Expat” or“What is an Expat?”

An Expat is someone who changes their residency to another country - It does not mean changing citizenship. It does not mean they lose their passport. It only means that they currently reside - live - in a different country.

So do I regret being an expat? Let me answer it this way…
I love to travel. I love to experience and immerse myself in new and different cultures. I get to learn different points of view and get a different perspective on life and the world. I get to enjoy new food and beverages. I get to build new relationships and be an unofficial ambassador to the World. Do I regret doing any of the things I listed above? Not at all. I am a resident of this wonderful Planet. I think I am gaining some valuable insights into life, people and myself. Being an Expat is Like Winning the Lottery.
